Telly Tadka – The spice of Indian television
Indian television industry has grown by leaps and bounds in the last decade spawning a multitude of channels catering to a range of audience tastes. Today Indian TV has shows and channels catering to drama, comedy, romance, reality shows, music and much more. However, the greatest crowd pullers remain the daily soaps or TV serials. Serials like ‘Kyon Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii’ lasted for more than 7 years. Though the trend today has changed, to keep the audience enthralled new topics need to be explored every now and then. Unlike earlier, now the daily soaps have shows which attract audience from all age groups and thus the new shows and new actors have been successful in creating huge fan following.
Fan following obviously means that people would be interested in knowing what’s happening to their favorite actors and shows. That’s when we decided, we need to do something about this. How to connect the audience with their stars? Bollywood news is in abundance for all to read but what about Telly land? Thus came Telly Tadka – to give the fans the latest spicy happenings of the television shows and the actors.
With a vision to connect the fans with their favorite actors and shows and to spice up the shows by giving updated happenings, Telly Tadka, a dream seen by our founder Muniza Riaz, took shape on July 18th, 2009 as it became a registered company in the US. Telly Tadka, fondly known as TT by us, started off in a small way by releasing articles about shows and actors and telecasting episodes about what’s happening to various shows on www.youtube.com. Today, TT is a well known online media news house which not only provides news but also is an interface between the fans and the show makers, actors etc. It is the first US registered online news channel which covers behind the scene people such as writers, directors, producers, cameramen and other important people in addition to the actors.
Every week we bring to you the latest news, interviews and behind the scene scoops of the shows currently on the air on various channels like Star Plus, Star One, Sony, SAB, Zee TV, Colors, NDTV Imagine through a 35-40 minutes show aired on our website and on You Tube every Tuesday at 9.00pm EST.
